Title: Have You Felt the Hand of God?

By Pinnacle Message

Introduction
There are moments in life when time seems to stand still—when fear dissolves, tears flow, peace invades chaos, and the soul whispers, “This is God.” To feel the hand of God is more than a fleeting emotion; it’s a divine encounter. It is the Creator reaching into your human circumstance with His eternal touch. But what does it really mean to be in the presence of God? How can we recognize His hand at work in our lives?

1. The Hand That Forms and Fashions

“Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands.”
—Psalm 119:73

Before you were born, God's hand was shaping your very being. You were not an accident. His divine fingers stitched your identity with intention and purpose. To feel His hand is to know that your existence carries meaning, and your design is a masterpiece formed by love.

2. The Hand That Protects

“You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.”
—Psalm 139:5

God’s hand surrounds you—front and back, in times of joy and moments of dread. His hand is a shield in spiritual warfare, a wall against fear. Feeling His hand means you are not forsaken. It is His presence saying, “I’ve got you.”

3. The Hand That Delivers

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”
—1 Peter 5:6

Sometimes the hand of God feels heavy—not as punishment, but as preparation. It humbles, molds, and then lifts. His hand doesn’t just remove us from pits; it transforms us while we’re in them. The lifting always comes in due time.

4. The Hand That Heals

“Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”
—Matthew 8:3

One touch from Jesus changed everything. Leprosy vanished. Shame disappeared. The touch of God heals not just bodies, but minds, memories, and broken hearts. To feel His hand is to encounter restoration on every level.

5. The Hand That Writes Your Destiny

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine... See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.”
—Isaiah 43:1, 49:16

You are not forgotten. Your name is engraved in His very palm. He carries your story, your prayers, your tears. When you feel His hand, you are reminded that your future is not random—it is written by the Author of Life.

6. The Hand That Strengthens

“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
—Isaiah 41:13

Even when you're too weak to reach out, He takes your hand. He doesn’t demand strength—He gives it. Feeling the hand of God means knowing you are never walking alone, and when you fall, He doesn’t point a finger—He offers His own hand to raise you.

7. The Hand That Stills the Storm

“Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.”
—Matthew 8:26

God’s hand doesn’t always remove the storm, but it always brings calm. In the center of confusion and crisis, the presence of God silences chaos. Feeling His hand is like standing still in a whirlwind and sensing an unshakable peace.

Conclusion: When You Know You’ve Felt It

To feel the hand of God is to become aware of the invisible yet undeniable touch of eternity on your temporary reality. It may come through comfort during prayer, conviction during scripture, rescue in crisis, or a whisper of peace when the world is loud.

Have you felt the hand of God? Look again—He may be holding you even now.

May your heart remain tender to His touch, your ears open to His whisper, and your life surrendered to His mighty hand.
