Live Like You’ve Received It
By Pinnacle Message
(Vol. 8 – A Continuation of “RECEIVE IT TODAY”)
When God places a gift in your life—be it salvation, grace, purpose, peace, or calling—it is not meant to remain a hidden treasure. You were never meant to just receive it—you were meant to live it. Many believers shout with joy at the altar of reception but go silent at the altar of expression.
To live like you’ve received it is to walk as one transformed. It is to reflect the kingdom in the marketplace, to be light in the home, salt in the street, and a voice of truth in the shadows. What you’ve received should shape what you say, how you love, what you forgive, and where you go. God's gifts were never meant to collect dust—they are to be worn with humility and walked out with boldness.
Biblical Foundations for Living Out What You’ve Received
-
Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Let what you’ve received from God illuminate your life so others may glorify Him—not you.
-
Romans 12:1
“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
Your life is the altar where the gift becomes worship. You don’t just say you’ve received—you show it by offering yourself daily.
-
Colossians 3:17
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus...”
Living like you’ve received it means doing everything—speaking, working, giving—with Christ at the center.
-
James 1:22
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
To live like you’ve received is to become a doer. Mere reception without action is self-deception.
-
Philippians 1:27
“Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ...”
The Gospel should not just be heard from your lips, but seen in your choices, your speech, and your attitude.
-
Titus 2:11–12
“For the grace of God...teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.”
The grace you received teaches you how to live—it disciplines and transforms, not just comforts.
-
Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me...”
When you’ve truly received Him, your life no longer belongs to you. It becomes a reflection of Christ in the earth.
A Word of Caution:
Too many have received the gift and buried it in the ground. Like the servant in Jesus' parable (Matthew 25), they are afraid to risk it, afraid to live boldly, afraid to be different. But the Master will return, and He will ask: “What have you done with what I gave you?”
Don’t fall into lukewarm living. Don’t let the fire fade. Don’t let the world dilute what God has deposited. The calling is not casual. The gift is not temporary. You carry divine treasure—don’t walk like the empty.
Encouragement for the Faithful:
Beloved, you are a city on a hill. You are the letter of Christ written not in ink, but with the Spirit of God. Let it show. Let your faith walk louder than your lips. Let love lead. Let forgiveness win. Let your life live like you’ve received the Kingdom—because you have.
