Vol. 5 — From Darkness to Light

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God...”
Acts 26:18 (KJV)

Introduction:

Spiritual blindness is a form of darkness — a heavy shadow that hides the truth of God’s Word and obstructs the path of life. In these final volumes, we stand on the battlefield of deliverance. Jesus came not only to heal, teach, and save — but to open eyes, shatter chains, and bring people out of darkness. Every prayer against spiritual blindness is a war cry against the forces of deception and the veil of sin.

1. Commissioned to Open Eyes

Jesus revealed Paul’s divine calling in one sentence: "to open their eyes."

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light…”
Acts 26:18a (KJV)

This isn’t just Paul’s mission — it’s the Church’s mission. We are called to preach, teach, intercede, and live in a way that tears down spiritual darkness around others.

2. From Satan to God

“…and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins.”
Acts 26:18b (KJV)

Blindness gives Satan dominion. But when the veil is lifted, people awaken to grace, forgiveness, and the authority of God. Spiritual blindness is bondage. Light is deliverance.

3. Jesus Heals the Blind Man

One of Jesus’ most iconic miracles was the healing of a blind man in stages.

“After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.”
Mark 8:25 (KJV)

The man first saw “men as trees walking” — a partial healing. But Jesus touched him again. This shows us that clarity may come in layers. We must keep praying until full vision is restored.

4. You Are Children of Light

“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.”
Ephesians 5:8 (KJV)

Believers must walk in what they’ve received. Spiritual sight is not a one-time event — it’s a continual lifestyle of choosing the light, rejecting darkness, and discerning truth daily.

5. Light Has Come Into the World

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light…”
John 3:19 (KJV)

Some remain blind because they love the darkness. Comfort in sin resists exposure. We must pray for hearts to desire the light — and have courage to walk into it, even when it burns.

6. Deliverance From the Blindness of Idols

“They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not.”
Psalm 115:5 (KJV)

Idols blind the soul. Whether physical, emotional, or material idols — they paralyze vision. Deliverance begins by casting them down in prayer and choosing Jesus alone as our vision.

7. A Final Prayer for Eyes to Be Opened

“Father, we come before You, asking for total deliverance from spiritual blindness. Tear down the veil. Break the power of Satan. Lead us out of every shadow and into Your glorious light. Touch us again where we still see dimly. Help us walk boldly as children of light. We renounce every idol, every lie, every compromise. Let Your truth shine like the sun. And may our lives testify of Your power to open blind eyes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Conclusion:

Spiritual blindness is real, but it’s not final. Through the power of Christ, the eyes of the lost can be opened, and the hearts of the saints can be renewed. As this series concludes, let us carry the fire of revelation forward — praying for sight, walking in the light, and turning others from darkness into His marvelous light.

“But ye are a chosen generation… to shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
