Divine Protection – Volume 2: Covered by the Blood
By Pinnacle Message
Key Verse:
“When I see the blood, I will pass over you…”
— Exodus 12:13 (KJV)
Narration:
On the night of the first Passover, Egypt was cloaked in fear. But while death crept through the land, the people of Israel were told to mark their doorposts with the blood of a lamb. That mark became their protection. That crimson covering became a covenant. This was not superstition—it was divine instruction rooted in God’s redemptive power.
Exposition:
The blood on the doorposts was symbolic. It pointed to the coming Messiah—Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God—whose blood would redeem, shield, and save all who believe. The enemy could not touch those under the covering. And today, the blood still speaks.
To be covered by the blood is to be spiritually secure, marked as God’s own. It is to live under the promise that judgment passes over us—not because we are sinless, but because we are sealed.
Supporting Scriptures:
-
Hebrews 9:22 – “Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.”
— God’s protection comes through divine payment. -
Revelation 12:11 – “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb...”
— Victory is wrapped in blood, not in sword. -
Romans 5:9 – “Being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
— The blood not only justifies—it shields. -
1 Peter 1:18-19 – “...redeemed...with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”
-
Ephesians 1:7 – “In Him we have redemption through His blood...”
-
Colossians 1:20 – “...making peace through the blood of his cross...”
-
Exodus 12:23 – “The Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to enter your house.”
Interpretation & Preaching:
Beloved, there is power in the blood—not just for forgiveness, but for protection. When you plead the blood of Jesus over your home, your children, your journey, you invoke divine covering.
This is not mystical—it’s spiritual truth. Hell cannot trespass where the blood is applied. The accuser cannot condemn what the blood has cleansed. Death cannot destroy whom the blood has marked.
Declare over your life today:
I am covered by the blood.
No destroyer can enter my dwelling.
The covenant still stands.
Call to Reflection:
Do not live exposed. Do not walk uncovered. Call upon the blood that speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). It speaks mercy. It speaks rescue. It speaks security.
Under divine protection, marked by blood—you are safe. Apply it. Trust it. Live in it.
