Delivered by Grace: When God Breaks Every Chain
By Pinnacle Message Ministries
There are moments in life when human strength fails—when the heart is weary, and the soul cries silently for deliverance. It is in these moments that grace steps in—not earned, but freely given. Grace is the hand of God reaching into our darkness to pull us into His marvelous light.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” —Ephesians 2:8
Grace delivers us from the bondage of sin, shame, and fear. It is not a reward for perfection but a divine rescue for the broken. Like Israel trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea, grace makes a way where there is no way.
“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” —Exodus 14:14
When Moses lifted his staff, it wasn’t human might that parted the waters—it was grace manifesting in obedience. Deliverance begins when faith meets surrender. God’s grace does not simply pardon; it empowers. It transforms what once was bondage into testimony.
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” —2 Corinthians 12:9
Paul knew this truth firsthand. Despite his thorn, grace carried him. Deliverance isn’t always the removal of a struggle; sometimes, it is the strength to endure, to rise again, and to glorify God through the pain. The one who has tasted grace knows that freedom is not merely escape—it is transformation.
“He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock.” —Psalm 40:2
That “horrible pit” represents sin’s entrapment, the despair of lost identity. Yet, when God delivers, He doesn’t just pull us out—He sets us upon a rock, establishing stability, dignity, and divine purpose.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to preach deliverance to the captives.” —Luke 4:18
Christ declared His mission—to free those bound by sin, addiction, and despair. His deliverance is not temporary relief but eternal redemption.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” —John 8:36
Grace breaks chains that generations could not. It restores what sin destroyed. It delivers not only the body but the soul, reshaping destiny with divine love.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” —Romans 6:14
Deliverance through grace is the believer’s greatest miracle. It is God saying, “You are no longer defined by your past but by My promise.” When grace delivers, it delivers completely—body, mind, and spirit—ushering us into freedom beyond measure, a freedom found only in Christ.
