WEDNESDAY – STRENGTH
Title: “Strength That Rises From Surrender”
Strength is often misunderstood. The world defines strength as control, power, and independence. But God defines strength differently—through surrender.
In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God declares, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” This truth shifts everything. Strength is not found in self-reliance—it is found in God-dependence.
Paul, a mighty apostle, carried a “thorn in the flesh.” Instead of removing it, God gave him grace. Why? Because surrender produces strength that pride cannot.
Narratively, many of us resist surrender. We try to fix everything, control outcomes, and carry burdens we were never meant to bear. But in doing so, we exhaust ourselves.
Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all who are weary… and I will give you rest.” True strength begins where striving ends.
Exposition reveals that surrender is not weakness—it is alignment. When you surrender your will to God, His power flows through you.
In Isaiah 40:31, we see, “Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” Waiting is not passive—it is positioning.
Interpretation: God is not asking you to be strong alone. He is inviting you into supernatural strength that comes from letting go.
Today, release what you cannot control. In surrender, strength will rise.
