Title: “When God Redirects Your Path”
There are moments in life when the road we planned suddenly closes. Doors shut without warning, opportunities fade, and what once seemed certain becomes unclear. In those moments, we often feel confusion—but what if what feels like a setback is actually divine redirection?
Scriptures:
- Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart…”
- Psalm 37:23 — “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord…”
- Isaiah 55:8–9 — “For my thoughts are not your thoughts…”
- Romans 8:28 — “All things work together for good…”
- Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you…”
- Psalm 119:105 — “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet…”
- Hebrews 11:8 — “By faith Abraham… went out, not knowing…”
Narration
A man once set out on a journey, confident in his direction. But halfway through, the road collapsed. Frustrated and weary, he turned back—only to discover another path he had never noticed. That path led him to greater peace than he had ever imagined.
Exposition
God’s redirection is not rejection—it is protection and purpose. When Paul intended to preach in Asia, the Spirit redirected him (Acts 16:6–10). That “no” led to a greater “yes”—the spread of the Gospel into Europe.
Sometimes we resist divine detours because we cannot see what God sees. But His wisdom stretches beyond our limited perspective.
Interpretation
When God redirects your path, He is not delaying your destiny—He is refining it. Trust is the bridge between confusion and clarity. Even when the map changes, the destination in God remains secure.
Key Truth: God’s “no” is often a setup for a greater “yes.”
