Wednesday — Strength
Strength for the Days When the Journey Feels Longer Than Expected
Scripture Anchor
Isaiah 40:31 — “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.”
Some journeys take longer than we imagined.
You may have started with excitement, prayed with confidence, and believed that the answer would come quickly. But days became weeks. Weeks became months. And somewhere along the road, your heart became tired.
This is where spiritual strength becomes essential.
Galatians 6:9 encourages us: “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Notice those words: due season.
There is a season appointed by God that may not correspond with our preferred timetable. Yet delay does not mean God has forgotten His promise.
Think about Joseph. Between his dream and its fulfillment came betrayal, slavery, false accusation, and imprisonment. What appeared to be a detour was actually part of God's preparation.
David was anointed king long before he sat on the throne.
Israel walked through the wilderness before entering the Promised Land.
The disciples endured the darkness of Friday before witnessing the glory of resurrection morning.
Your journey may feel long, but God is still working.
Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.”
God does not merely tell you to endure—He supplies strength for the endurance.
So when you feel tired, return to His presence.
When your faith feels weak, return to His Word.
When you wonder whether continuing is worth it, remember why God called you to begin.
You may be closer to the breakthrough than you realize.
Today's Declaration
The length of my journey will not defeat my faith. God is renewing my strength. I will keep walking, keep believing, keep praying, and keep trusting. My due season will come in God's perfect time.
