Scripture Anchor — Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

You can be faithful and still feel tired. You can love people sincerely and still feel the ache of being overlooked. Perhaps you have continued helping, praying, giving, and encouraging, yet lately you have wondered: “Does any of this make a difference?”

God welcomes that honest question. You do not have to disguise your weariness to approach Him.

In Galatians 6:9, Paul speaks to believers who need encouragement to continue doing good. His instruction acknowledges that faithful service can become demanding. The harvest does not always appear as quickly as the labour requires. There are seasons when we must trust God while the results remain hidden.

Think of a seed beneath the soil. For a time, the surface seems unchanged. Yet the absence of visible growth does not tell the whole story. In a similar way, we cannot always measure what God is accomplishing through a patient conversation, a generous action, or a prayer offered in secret.

Hebrews 6:10 assures believers that God remembers their work and the love they have shown in serving others. People may overlook your contribution, but your service is known to Him. Let that truth steady your heart without making you dependent on recognition.

Jesus also teaches us to examine our motives. In Matthew 6:3–4, He describes giving that does not seek an audience. Quiet generosity helps us practice love freely. We serve because someone needs care and because Christ has first cared for us.

However, continuing in goodness does not require carrying every burden alone. When His disciples had been busy ministering, Jesus invited them to come apart and rest in Mark 6:31. Rest belongs within a faithful life. Ask for help when you need it. Allow trusted people to encourage you. Give your body and mind time to recover.

Isaiah 40:29 declares that God gives power to the faint. You can ask Him for strength for the responsibility immediately before you. You do not have to solve the whole week today. Sometimes renewed faithfulness begins with one manageable act of love.

Perhaps that act is checking on a lonely person. Perhaps it is completing a responsibility carefully, apologizing sincerely, or praying for someone whose struggle you cannot fix. Small actions can carry deep compassion.

1 Corinthians 15:58 reminds us that our labour in the Lord is not in vain. This does not promise that every effort will bring the response we hoped for. It gives us a reason to entrust our service to Christ, whose purposes extend beyond what we can presently see.

Today, bring both your willingness and your weariness to the Lord. Let Him renew the heart from which your service flows. Keep doing good with wisdom, and leave the harvest in His hands.

Prayer

Father, You know where I have become weary. Renew my strength and protect my heart from bitterness. Help me serve with love, rest with wisdom, and receive help with humility. Remind me that my life and labour matter to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s step: Choose one manageable act of kindness, and make room for the rest or support you
